What the heck is a dropper?

In CVS2 XBLive, when you are beating someone, they drop before you register the final hit to avoid having a loss added to their record. Most commonly done among by high ranking players ( SS, S, A, B ). Lower ranking players ( L, M, R, etc ) tend to rarely drop compared to the higher ups, since they have almost nothing to lose.

You end up getting the shaft, and it throws off your matches played/matches won ratio.

Trust me, it's a pain in the ass, and it's totally unfair to people who really work hard to be better at the game. It's really frustrating when you have days in which EVERYONE drops. If you're not getting stomped by Sagat or Blanka ( by people using less that 3 moves per character ), you're defeating them, and getting dropped on before you can register your victory.

One of the factors that I really considering taking of the game back over. The only person I play online now is NGEF, and a few others here at TNL. I have since stopped caring about the whole situation, but it still can be very irritating to deal with.
