    For fun, Most if not all Atari games looped and never had any ending where there was credits, but they were alot of fun too.

  2. Does Prime really have a different ending after 100%?
    Yes. It's the same ending all the way up to the congratulations screen, then after that it shows a red and black hand with an eye on the back of it reaching out of a blob of Phazon. The eye looks around and that's it.

  3. Pretty important, having something decent like in Last Blade 2 surely helps. I wish that shooters had a little better story, or at least had one.

    Depends on the game.
    RPG's=bad ending meens wasted experience.FF9 had a great fucking ending.
    fighting games=not really important but if they have a real reason for fighting i want to see something.Or they could start doing what Sammy did and have a nice little story mode in there fightin games.
    Shmups=they have stories????

    Endings aren't that important unless the game is story driven.

    Words from the Big Black Guy,
    JBNagis

    P.S.PortisHead ownz joo!

  5. Not very. I still don't knwo what the fuck happened at the end of Sin and Punishment, and I don't really care.

  6. A great ending can make a game. It did for Klonoa.

    Although, a good shooter with a cool story mode and a nice ending would be one hell of a game As opposed to CONTRAGULATION!
    If you're really good, finish Strikers 1945. Whether you care for the 'story' (or the art) is up to you.

  9. I think a good ending is important.

    It's not only a nice payoff for spending your money & time beating a quality game but it also gives you extra incentive to play through it again.

    A good ending adds replay value.

    Agreed. They say that the journey is more important than the destination. If teh game is generally good~great a bad ending doesn't really matter. Par example: ANY 2d Shinobi game. Revenge of Shinobi hasoften been maligned as having a bad ending (actually 2 bad endings) but it's an ending I really didn't mind because I had fun getting there.
