Update city- upon looking at the art for the back of the box, with the pic of the battle mode, it looks like it will feature Streets of Rage-ish gameplay for the battle mode. Very awesome stuff, I'm somehow more excited about the game than I was before.

I might have missed it somewhere in this thread, but have you ever even played a Rent-A-Hero game Jeremy?

Nope, never. I've always been wanting to though, but until now, the opportunity just hasn't presented itself to play one. Here's a pic of the battle mode, for those interested in seeing it.

Well, I never thought I'd get through it, but I finally got done converting each and every last image used in the piece into HTML, barring the Xbox version screens, which probably won't be used due to there not being any decent quality versions of them. This thing looks so much better with the images intertwined in the text. It'll look even better once there is some sense of uniformity among the images, instead of the drastic size changes from image-to-image that exists now.

Edit- the game has just been given ANOTHER delay-, this time around it's the 25/26th.

The game got a B- score in GameNOW, apparantly, which is good news to be sure. I can't wait to see how reviews for the final version of the game compare to those done on the 80% complete version.

Point taken, for the succeeding page(s), assuming there are any, I'll just keep editing posts, with date/time added in to mark when the changes were made. Although this will prevent some folks from seeing the thread at times, it's probably a change for the better, assuming I can keep it up.
