Extra gore coundn't help that movie. I thought Zombie showed promise as a director, and there were some okay parts in the movie (towards the end), but overall I still say that it was pretty bad.
Home release is today, I gotta see the uncut version. A sequel is in works too!

I read that the version released today is not DC version, Zombie talked about, but in fact is the same version that was playing in theaters.
Still, I will be renting it tonight, so we shall see how it works with me.
what about extra Baby, would that help?

It's not the DC...I saw the DVD today in Best Buy, it's the theater cut. Still, it did have a ton of extras. If you liked the movie, you'll love the DVD. I'll give it a rent, what the hell. I'm especially interested in the character hosted DVD sections...yes, Baby actually "hosts" a section of the DVD options, or something like that.

yeah i finally got to see it a while back. came to the dollar theatre and never to the full price. odd for this area. anyway, yeah it sucked....bad. i guess the sequel is going to actually have a budget and will start 2 days after the first.
