I was disappointed that they didn't show any recent games or at least games later than 1988. There's been a lot of stuff since then.
I can relate it to breakdancing(bboying). If someone does a documentary, they'll do it about the early 1980s and the craze period, when the moves were just being invented. But they won't focus on current events and competitions and a thousand moves and styles that have been invented long after the boom has died down. I understand that they have to keep the show under 1 hour, but I could have squeezed a few modern games in there. I think the newest game they showed was Donkey Kong Country for SNES. Does that mean that the games have not been innovative since the mid 80s... It does to some people.
I don't know how to get rid of the huge space here.
