Pretty cool movie. Its nothing like I thought it would be but just as good. I love sappy endings like that.
Well, On DVD there is alternative ending, where Jim didnt made it, and istead they have a chicken in that scene. Everything else goes the same, but death of main character adds much more sadness to the ending.
I agree with everything said here.Originally posted by Mr-K
I saw it tonight and I must say I was quite pleased with it. I wouldn't exactly call it "scary" but I found it very entertaining (much better than the Hulk). And again my theater was struck with stupid assholes who wouldn't shut the bloody fuck up. God damnit, I'm starting to hate going to the movies.
Including comments about annoying people.
It seems that the human mind still has trouble with the concept of people being naked.
But whatever.
Indeed. Definitely didn't see that one coming.Originally posted by Delta
i saw it a few weeks ago. it was really good. i liked the little twist in there.
They did all the songs? They're really good!Originally posted by APC
I could careless for horror films but I'll see just because Danny Boyle is directing. Plus Godspeed is doing the soundtrack.
Do you know the name of the opening and closing (not the one to the credits) songs?

It said HELP not hell. And ending was little to happy.![]()
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
i went to see 28 days later last night, but it was sold out. i didn't think it would do that well, but now i'm glad i bought 20,000 shares of 28 days later $10M call!!!
but i saw it on dvd a few months ago and enjoyed it a lot. does anyone know if they changed anything in the european release and the us release? i'm going to see it on tuesday now so i was wondering if it was the same movie.
Didn't you hear? If you make loud groaning noises when there is a naked guy on screen it proves your heterosexuality!Originally posted by OmniGear

icarusfall and I went to see it 2 nights ago and they over sold the movie... we had to sit in the aisle, and then the usher came along and made us leave as there weren't any seats![]()
However, we ended up making the show last night - really enjoyed it.
It actually reminded me of "the beach" - when he breaks away from the camp (just there), and "outbreak" with the monkey thing...
All said and done, I really liked it.![]()

I read about possible trimming of few parts, especially a bit at the hospital in the beginning, that features some male full frontal nudity(not something that will be missed by many people anyway), and I'm not sure(but hope) that certain eye gouging scene will stay intact, but otherwise it should be present in the original way.
In response to the audience comment above, it really pisses me off how little decency most movie-goers have. Talk talk talk fucking worthless babble throughout large chunks of the film. Some ditz behind me was reading any on-screen captions ("Twen-ty Eight Days Late-er..." YEAH NO SHIT BITCH you can read the fucking title! Great! Get out of my theatre, you noise making whore-bag!).
Oh, and then there were all the "I don't want to see his THING!" responses to the male nudity shots. As one of my friends commented, you can tell this isn't an American film due to the male nudity and lack of female nudity... and as I commented, you can tell this sure is an American audience, because of their shock and horror comments to seeing a grown man's penis on-screen.
People fucking suck.
On the movie itself, I loved it. The shots of abandoned London were great! The movie stirred up a lot of conversation between me and my friends as well. Of course we aren't delinquents, so we *gasp!* waited until AFTER THE FILM ENDED to talk to each other.

Well, Good to hear that the film passed the censors uncut. Thats how all foreign films should be treated, and not something MiramAxe does.
