SLR's are fun (nothing like the smell of fixer in the morning )
But digital photography is just so much easier, and in some respects the image quality is better. And... If you get a bad exposure, you can always mess with gamma in photoshop.

My camera is capable of a staggering 3X zoom, just to give you an idea of how close I had to get to the fellow for that shot.

Here are some shots from my first batch of digital pictures. I just got my camera and Photoshop about a month ago. Most have just been resized, but on the night shot I changed the contras a bit to make it more visible and applied a sharpening filter.

Last one is awesome. The others are neat as well, but sort of come across as attempts to make an interesting picture out of something that would be otherwise a bit dull untreated.

They are all forced manipulations though, assigned for an art class.

I was just messing around with different effects for a series of effect shots I have to do. I think I like the white trees best, so it looks like I'm going to be doing a series of those.

Well, I've been chosen by my art teacher to put on a phototography exhibit in the atrium at school, so I've been working on pictures a lot lately. Here are a few new shots going into the show:
