Thread: my gaming heart is broken....

  1. my gaming heart is broken....

last night trying to make room on my ps1 memory card for final fantasy origins i accidentaly erased my dragon warrior 7 info. 75 hours over the past...2 winter breaks.....it's all gone. i was near the end of the first disc, and i really wanted to finish the game someday....but now....i don't even want to bother starting over. a friend of mine ofered to let me use the save file he has. he was about 30 hours in....right before the part where you can actually start changing classes...but now that i think about it...i don't even wanna start from there...it won't be the same. i feel better today...but....this'll take some time to get over i guess.

  2. Don't feel bad. I had a bunch of dex drive saves on my computer that I forgot to back up on a floppy or disc. WHen I redid my computer, I lost them. Some of those games, like Tales of Destiny, I sure as hell don't feel like playing through again. It was suggested I could download a save to replace them, but its not the same when it isn't your work.

  3. a few years back my brother formatted my memory card for my PS1 erasing everything (mostly RPGs) so I know what that can be like

  4. That sucks bro, sorry to hear it.

  5. ... doesn't holding down R1+R2+L1+L2 restore an accidentally deleted game? Not hours later, but when you see it swirling away you can press the buttons and it will come back?

  6. yeah

I did sort of the same. :/ I had one of those mega-memory cards die on me a year or two ago. It wiped out every Playstation game I'd ever played. I think I quit playing for a month or two.

P.S. That last sentence is so true..
    "Tick-tock"

  10. Just use a gameshark to plow your way through the game.
