Thread: SSX 3

  1. You forget CV, that your opinion is wrong when you're not with the general consensus.

The people who think this game is perfect and can't handle negative criticism are what cracks me up. You'd think they actually worked on the game, or something, and I'd hate to meet some of these people in real life.

Next time you all manage to bring up even the slightest detail that's wrong with a game I enjoy, I'll be sure to jump down your throats and tell you how wrong you are.

Some of us enjoyed when the characters actually had character, and there's still no excuse for the skin thing. Either make them characters, or leave them out.

All in all, I'd still say this game is a 9 out of 10, but I'll doubt this part will make it into anyone's reply.

  2. It's a lot better than Tricky, that's all I wanted and that's what I got. If someone finds faults in it, it's no hair off my ass. Vegetables first post was just weird, he had some complaints that as he found out, weren't a real problem, he just need to take some time off (a long day as he said) and give it another whirl. Sounds like he likes it more now. If some people have a problem with the characters...hey if you don't like 'em what are ya going to do? I don't have a problem with 'em so that's not something I'll dwell on.

Noface: Those bars...do something. Heh. I'm not sure. But the first bar (with the 1 over it) is your current outfit. The second one is if you make the changes you have selected. No idea what it effects though.

  3. As for the accessories, I find myself breaking it up like this. For every $10,000 I earn I probably put $7,000 towards stats and $3,000 towards other stuff.
I thought you were gay.... i guess not.

This is about right, i just got it, the local eb(despite all my bitching, i went back..and now they are selling vj for 39.99 God is playing pranks on me now) i am liking it, psymon is not quite as insane anymore with all the comments..i want to have an epiphany and call ufos to come take me now, but the overall presentation is enjoyable, i need to learn some of the courses, but for me this game looks so good, its a whole different gaming generation than tricky..ees good. And as the vegg said, the snow is very, very nice. I oddly enough got the box version, since the gc version was sold out,and i didnt want to lug my 3 trade in games back to the car again, so box version get.
Im liking it,ep was right about the whole owning joo on me, its a great game, now back to playing.

oh, and veggie, i have days like that too, i deal with it with near-lethal doses of caffine, yeah you get a headache, and get jittery, and develop slight telekinesis, but it find it perks me right up

edit: one crabbing,i dont like the music as much, but i havent played that much yet, so there could be gems like "finished symphony" on tricky..

Well what I did usually was push down the right joystick at the same time as the X button but I then found out that you don't have to do both at the same time with the help of that pie-chart'ish combo meter. I was releived to have much more time to string together combos which rules.

Here's a question... when you're equipping gear, what do the bars on the right side of the screen with a 1 and a 2 mean? Sometimes they go up and down when I change equipment, but I can't figure out what the hell they're for. Anyone know or have an idea at least?
Hmm, well if you look at the bottom left screen one bar says 'Your current outfit' the other says 'Your possible outfit' most likely saying the outifit would match I guess. Not too much relevance in those bars as I thought you would be able to change the color of the items but nope.

I got to Peak 3 but I only did like 2/5 of the stuff in Peak 2. This one's gonna last a while

Still wrong. The two bars are actually polygon counts, and when bar 2 is filled, you can't add anything to your character, because it'll have too many polygons and slow the game down.

1 is your current outfit, and 2 is your outfit after adding items.

How the hell did you come to this conclusion?

  8. I'm saying he's guessing.

  9. I'll laugh my ass off if it explains the two bars in the instruction booklet and we were just too lazy to actually look/

  10. I'm looking in it now, can't find anything on the goddamn bar.
