When the uber gauge is powered up, just hit one of the grab buttons. It takes a split second for it to start, and for you to come out of it though, so make sure you're on a long rail before you start.Originally Posted by child810
The handplant slows you down too much. It's only use is in the halfpipes. I'm glad it's in there though. I'm still figuring out how to do ubers on the rails. It's tough to time everything correctly.
Really is the best snowboarding game ever.

Does anyone know how to transition between pipes (like on Schizophrenia) without using the handplant? Kinda like a bowl transfer in Tony Hawk I guess... I'm wondering how and if you can do this flying through the air. Thanks.
Good question.
I've done it maybe half a dozen times, but never with any consistency. I wouldn't be surprised if it said how to in the manual, but I'll be damned if I'll check!
*shakes fist*
Nope not in the manual.

i tried for a few minutes, but i get the feeling that there is no reliable way to do it. the handplant works well enough for me.it's also good for getting onto missed rails that are too high for you to simply jump onto. just hold the handplant button as you ride alongside the rail.Originally Posted by child810
I would think there has to be a reliable way, because on some of the trickstyle courses you can't handplant to transition to other half pipes because they're either set much higher or lower than the halfpipe you start in...Originally Posted by epmode

Goddamn it, you're making me want this game so bad...![]()
PS2 version has been fine aside from a bit frame dropping in heavily populated areas (cities normally), and sometimes a slight chug when new music loads.
