What games do you collect?

I do pretty much the same thing you do Yoshi, I go nuts collecting certain things, be it NGPC games, or PSX RPGs, or DC games, Sega games, whatever, then sell it all, and find something else to collect Right now I'm constantly working on my one collection that I'm not going to sell, which is GBA games. IMO GBA SP is the best system ever, design wise and games wise (though DC still holds it's place in my heart as my favorite console perse, because of the memories it holds ). I'm also trying to play as many Atlus titles as I can whenever possible. Go to Atlus.com and click on GAMES, they've got quite a nice catalogue of games, almost all are very interesting

Yeah. I stopped "collecting" when I realized it was a destructive habit, taking too much time and thought. I had a long list of games I "had to have," but slowly I would knock games off that I didn't really want to play, and now I have a list of about 5 games to check out. It feels good. And in the meantime, I've sold a third of my games, with a quarter of the remainder to go. It's nice having money to spend on other, more useful things.

I could use a few more Psikyo shooters, though.

I don't really "collect" games. I buy what I'd like to play. A couple examples might be considered a small collection, though:

I have almost a complete American console Mega Man collection. The only ones I'm missing are X5, X6, Rockman & Forte, and that soccer game for SNES. I'd also like to get the SNES or PS1 version of X3 - the Saturn import sucks (SS X3 is the only Rockman game I have).

I also own every game released in the US with the Final Fantasy name except Origins, FFX, and FFLegend II.

i try to collect whatever i like, got all the megamans, most of the *cough* final fantasy series. However after ten, i'm not buying the sequal.

At one point I had a ludacris amount of games which were in my collection, but I got rid of 90% of them. Why, because I didn't play them. It doesn't seem logical for me to buy stuff anymore unless I'll play it.

I want to start collecting, but I usually buy games I want. I have lots of fighters though, so you can say I collect fighters...

I also try to collect SEGA games...
