Mainly for this reason- you know how when you're a kid people will do that thing with their thumb and make it look like that they pulled it off? You know how when you're a kid you can't tell the difference because, well, you're a kid? Well, my dad had that same idea, except that when he did it it was with a giant fish dripping with slime and gunk. He licked it in front of me. After I had eaten lunch. I puked and puked and for a month later if I was anywhere near a fish I'd get sick. So after that, I kind of cultivated a distaste for fish.

but you dont get sick around them anymore?

Not vomitously sick, but fish is repugnant enough to keep me away.

sad times... I read Hatchet in sixth grade and all I wanted to eat for months was fish, and I still love it... you should read Hatchet.

I also do art commissions and a few greeting cards for a friend's company. Not a fan of greeting cards though, there's little chance to express your contempt for mankind.

I'm thinking about going back to school for a graphic design degree too (have a BFA in studio art).
