Yes. Fortunately the "OMG!!" posts seem to be in the minority and we have instead been blessed with a startling number of thoughtful, blunt, and occasionally even insightful posts from the TNL folk.

This thread not exactly being the best example, mind.

Oh absolutely, most of the posts on TNL are really great and I've learned a lot about art, movies, and videogames. It's just that when I see this abundance of "I like this girl..." "how do I get a girl to notice me." I hear Dawson Creek music and expect the layout of TNL to look more like a teenager's diary. But like I said a large pop. of TNL users are teenager's so I guess it comes with the territory.
