  1. What exactly are section ID cards for?

    My Force is level 50 but only has 492 MST and that's with a Hildebear Cane equipped. I've seen Forces 10 levels lower than me doing more damage with their spells. What's up? My Mag is level 200 with 70 mind. Should I raise a new one with a higher mind stat?

    They are novelty weapons more than anything. So far even on the Gamecube version, not all of the Section ID cards have been found yet. Treat them pretty much like a Mahu if anything else.

    Well I can only surmise that these players either have higher level techs than you or they are using weapons which boost the attack power of some techs in the game. Overall tho higher level techs are nice to have but it's that MST which rocks.

    If anything I would focus on getting Mind Materials on your force a bit more but also with only 70 mind for a Force, that's very weak for the normal amount of mind a force's mag should have. If anything I would probably start on a new mag and pump as much mind into it as possible.

  5. really melf,i woudl ditch the pow and dex stats for a force,you will neverreally getwepsthatcan dish out pain to match the hunters,and guns too will be too weak to have an effect. you will do so much more damage with your spells, that you should just flog the mind stat to death,and maybe pick up some def too,but spyral'smag has a mind of 120,and i am going to do a new mag to get more mind,maybe around 150.

    They also may have merges on, or their weapons give them boosts.

    Heres some of the increases that the more common-rare weapons can give you.

    Club of laconium 40% foie
    Mace of adaman 40% barta
    Club of zimiuran 40% zonde
    Storm wand: Indra 20% zonde, gizonde, razonde
    Ice staff: Dagon 20% barta, gibarta, rabarta
    Fire scepter: Agni 20% foie, gifoie, rafoie
    Hildebears cane 30% foie

    Also, the singular spell merges give an extra 30% to the spell they are a merge of. So, a rafoie merge gives an extra 30% to rafoie etc etc. The general merges (red, yellow, blue) give 20% to all spells of that type.

    BTW, MST affects spell damage in a slight way, but level of the spell matters a lot more, try playing as big-melf during a few ultimate runs and just hog some spells, it'll help you out a lot in the long run. and if you ever need to i can let you borrow my mind mag to learn spells.

  7. Thanks hayato. I'll make an ultimate run tonight and try to get some higher spells. The ones you gave me last time helped a lot.

    My new mag is level 81 and has PWR: 1, DEF: 17, Dex: 11 (I think), MIND: 51. How's that so far for a force mag? Any good?

  8. sounds good,remember to flog the mind,and you should be good. also,listen to hayato,the the semi rare wands(agni,dagon,indra) really affect your spells,if you want a dagon and indra,hit me up,i have a good lot of them.

    That's very nice. If you're skilled enough you should try to make a 4th Evolution Mind Mag out of that. The cool thing is once the mag changes to the 4th form, it will never change back.

    There are a few basics here and there in which you can create a nice Mag for your Force.

    All in all tho I would concentrate soly on Mind and DFP for your force seeing as POW is utterly pointless. A 2nd thing you should know is Material distrubution for your character.

    Now sadly there is a cap on materials you can consume for your character so in the end it will take a combination of your mag and your balanced material eating to max all of your stats to yellow.

    I think psoworld has the proper stats you need to eat in materials to have a 'perfect' character. I made that mistake on S N K and some of her stats were never maxed when she hit 200.

    There is more indepth depth detail I can go into if you like but generally you should do what I did and whip out a notepad and start keeping track of materials you consume.

    FYI The Max Material Consumption limit for Living Being is 250 Mats & the max Limit for Androids is 150. Also eating HP Materials does not count upon this so you can eat as many of those as you want.

    This is a small example of what will work but in the end it's up to you how you want to work it out.

    I can't agree more to this. Using a Club of Laconuim of the Final form of Falz in Ult is golden due to how falz hates that basic Foi attack.
