I've found a Sacred Guard in the Very Hard Ruins. Can someone explain me why a super hyper golden Shield that can be equipped at level 17 can only be found so late in the game?
Oh, btw, I'm playing PSO 1. And though I did get some red flowers and a red serpent in the Caves in Hard Mode, so far I haven't seen anything of the likes in Very Hard. Is there a trick?

This my friend is known as the Telepipe trick.

Lets take the senario you want to find a Red Lily. Simply find a monster room that has at a lily, having multiple lilies are always good. Set up a Telepipe, and see if the room has the Red Lily. If it doesn't telepipe to town and head back up to the telepipe and set another one. Keep doing this over and over till when the monsters change, you come across a red lily.

Also with the limes, if you multiply them you'll have a chance of them producing a red one.

Yes it does. Just basicly any monster that can be an inverted color monster will work.

So what good does finding/killing a red lilly do? And for clarifications sake: I'd TP to town than take that TP back and set up annother TP to take back up if I continue doing that without killing the Lilly at some point it'll turn red. Is that the gist of it?

Well, one red Lily in Hard gave me a Hero Ability, which is a +15 in every attribute. At the point I am in the game (level 85) I guess I could get some serious stuffs (God Ability or some kind of higher magic resistance).

if you tp/die and return away from a rare monster, it will be one when you return. if you see a red lilly and are playing on a hard difficulty, it may drop a good rare, or, it may just drop a regular item, so far that has happened twice to me with a red ultimate lily and a green rappy, they dropped cash adn a manofluid..respectively.

I'm still not understanding this TP trick. Can someone please explain it in plain (proper) english?

k, the rappy, hildebear, lily, and pouliliy slime all have a varient rare that is a diffrent color. Now what you do is when you you get in a room that has a few of those(except the pouilily slime, i'll explain later) you quicly make sure if they are the mormal versions or not: if not quickly set a telepipe and go back to town, then repeat untill said diffrent color rare version appears. The pouilily slime you can split by using ice attacks to get a rare version.
