uhhh...actually it is hard. the levels are really easy until you get to the boss. then it gets hard. i made it to the third boss, but it destroyed me in my sleep!

and as for the music not being japanese, what's weird is in the game it tells you the composer (or whatever you call them) of the songs and they all have japanese names. weird indeed...

NotJigen: Minter's basic gameplay is usually "see crap. shoot crap. collect sheepies." It's a shooter. With crazy graphics. And hopefully crazy music. Reference the Tempest games for examples.
