Battle of the Planets (PS2)

One of my friends told me this game existed but I've never heard anything about it. Does anyone know anything about it?

I think it's being made for several platforms by Head First, the developer of that upcoming Cthulu FPS but I'm not sure.

Really. Thats cool. I hope there's a GC rev, but if not, I'd be happy with either a PS2 or XBox version. So there isn't one already out for any older platforms that you know of.

I don't think there's one already out there. The info I got was on some Xbox site a little while back. There wasn't even a screenshot.

There is a fighting game for the PSX that features characters from Battle of the Planets. I had been looking for a new copy for years and even asked in Trade Depot here, but no luck. 'Course, I am not a big fan of the show and I don't have a PSone or PS2 that plays imports, so my search was half-hearted.

It seems to have been rereleased and NCS has it in stock. Here is the description from that page. The game is called Tatsunoko Fight.

There's another game starring Gatchaman for PSX. A simple overhead shooter.

It's an extremely generic & average shooter (dare I say... mediocre?!).
And as much as I like Gatchaman/G-Force/BotP, I really can't recommend it to anyone.
