I like vocals, so maybe Power Shovel or Geppy-X.
Shenmue II's was very appropriate.
I loved In The Hunt's because it matched the opening "engage dark anarchy society" message and gets me pumped up for the game.
Martial tunes are nice in SRPGs, really makes me want to kick arse. (ogre/FF tactics)
Castlevania Chronicles, I loved the original music mode, and SOTN was great.
Damn, there are too many greats.
Kukeiha Club and Zuntata I think have the highest rate of quality releases.

Greatest non/normal game music: JSR and JSRF.

I Hate Yoshi
Final Fantasy 7 was really good.
Lunar was awesome and so was Chrono Cross.
I'd say it's a tie between those three.
