Thread: Regionless DVD Players

  1. Regionless DVD Players

I'd like to buy a reasonably cheap regionless DVD player. The thing is, I don't know where to get one, or what quality brand to buy.

I'd prefer to order it online, but if you tell me Best Buy has them, I'm not totally taking a drive down there.

    Little help?

  4. Or you could just get the Action Replay for the PS2, that makes it a regionless DVD player. What's this about Andrew helping you in your thread?

  5. Apex players are region free, but you have to input some kind of "code" on the remote for it to work.

Or get the Dvd region free disc from Lik-Sang for half the price. Also, the Action Replay doesn't allow component/rbg video.

  7. Well, it's more of a bonus feature for the AR.

Is that a limitation of the PS2, or does the region-free disc from lik-sang allow component/rgb?

  9. The region free disc does allow for component video. The screen goes all pink and wavy when you use the Pro Action with component video.
