I've tried Air Gallet, and it's somewhat fair to middling IMO. One could do worse. I'll agree that it is sorta slow.

Because I couldn't find a more appropriate thread for it, Arcade shock has a brand new progear kit up on their site, while I would love to buy it, 850$, is a shit load of money and out of my range for the moment.
On a related note, does Progear have checkpoints? I don't know where I got that from, of course I can't verify it from the superplay vid.

Once you reach the loop, dying will set you back to the beginning of a stage. That's as close as it comes to checkpoints.

unless your computer is over 3 years old, there's a very good chance you can play two of those. it's worth the trouble. (and it's not much trouble)
