Thread: Van Damme in Swan Lake adaptation

  1. Van Damme in Swan Lake adaptation

OMG. Just read this news bit:

"Van Damme's Next & Swan Lake: Kaseys Van Damme Page reports that Yaletown Entertainment Corp has acquired rights for a sequel to the Jean Claude Van Damme flick "Replicant". The action star is busy right now though with a Ringo Lam directed remake of Steve McQueen classic "The Great Escape" in the works, and funnily enough a film version of the ballet classic "Swan Lake". The Observer has details on the big screen adaptation of Tchaikovsky's classic which is being handled by both the English National Ballet and the FX teams behind the "Harry Potter" movies, and will be non-dancing. Shooting is due to start next spring and the movie is expected to be screened later next year whilst Jonathan Shalit, the main guy behind the production is after the likes of Ewan MacGregor, Glenn Close, Jane Seymour and of course the 'Muscles from Brussels' for key roles. Thanks to 'BrowB'."
