You're kidding me right? He looks like the type of white guy I used to beat up back in high school. At this point, they could paint me white and give me a skull t-shirt and I'd look more convincing. Where's the built-like-a-brickhouse Punisher that broke a man's neck by close lineing him? I want to see a guy who would use an unconscious Spider-Man as a shield in a fight with a mad Russian, not some guy who looks like he couldn't beat his own dick if his life depended on it.

Wow, you guys are fucking cruel. I'm not saying that it's without justification, but wow.

John Travolta would made a terrible comicbook villian. He'd act similar to the way he did in Face Off and that would kill any chance this movie had of embodieing the cruel, sick, fucked-up world that The Punisher inhabits.

That said this movie stood no chance anyhow seeing as any non-mutant/super powered super hero movie will generally suck. Look at Daredevil, though it was passable it was hardly what can be called great. It was barely good at best. It had a candy plot and was executed in that manor.

I don't know why DD gets much so flak, it was very respectable to the comics(besides the uncharacteristic 'killing is ok' thing but it was a cool different approach and his flying leaping ability was an odd representation @_@)but I thought it was on par with Spiderman and X-Men/X2 as far as comic book movies go. I can't wait for the DVD and the extras and such.

daredevil is the comic movie ive liked the most so far. course i dont know much of his actual story like i do the others.

im thinkin henry rollins should be punisher.
