Understandable given that it was on the PS2 and sucked. Can't wait for the HL2 XBox version. I'm excited but I'm not sure I want to spend the hundreds of dollars to upgrade my pc to play one game (and no amazing shadows don't interest me )

Its not a matter of the PC or Xbox version will be better. The PC version will be better. Its just that I don't play games on the Computer, so I want the Xbox version. And I could care less about MODs and such. I just want to play the game Half-Life 2.

People hated the PS2 version because I guess it was wicked choppy and just a horrid port. And people who play a lot of FPS on Consoles have gotten used to dual stick aim/control, so its not a factor to me.
