Hey all,

Heya Bahn, long time no see. Hows the Comic goin?

Not sure how many of you are MK fans, I was back in the day when MK2 was released. The latter ones were kinda lame. But I gotta admit MK5 looks really sweet so far.

So I did this pic for one of thier contests. I didn't have much time to refine it cause the contest ends SOON , so Quan Chi looks kinda funny hehe.

Comic, what comic? Oh, the one that was supposedly to be released this quarter. Ah, indeed. Our artist mysteriously has abandoned communications with the writer, as well as the rest of the team. Personally, I think that's very unprofessional and irresponsible - so many people were looking forward to the comic, and he let us down.

We'll prolly be putting out a request for a new TNL staff artist soon. (One which will be more communicable and won't screw us over)

Ya. for real. but, hey - that's what happens when you're a self-depreciative and selfish wrapped in one. totally not a good combination for an artist. TNL Solid had a lot of potential, and it didn't even have a chance to bloom before it was even started.

I hope you're not referring to me, Bahn. I'm working on it as we speak, and besides, you have my email and AIM name if you need to reach me. You just gave it to me right during finals (which for the Art School, are just huge projects to be done), so, it's taking a little longer than I had hoped.

OT: Nice piece, I like the boldness of the inking. The pixelation in the background is a little jarring, though.

Hey Korly,

I am glad you reckognized my artwork in MK5 , it's been ages since I have been to TNL so I was confused when I got an email from the forums hehe.

Thanks for the props. I was pretty stoked to see it myself. That and the free copy of the game they sent me was nice as well. Be sure to stop by MK5.org sometime if you are intereseted in MK, I am working on some MK6 unofficial concepts you may enjoy.
