If one were to rank games they should rank them by era. Then, within the era rank them by style of game against each other, this would be a more efficent means of selecting, though more ambiguious because no reason or rank is given against games in diffren eras from others. Pac-Man can be #10 as much as Halo. That's not a full explaination but then.. why should it really matter.
