X3: Halle is out and Bryan will step to the side, Alan, Daniel, Shawn & Rebecca are back - what about Hugh Jackman then one has to wonder. The actor seems interested but won't commit fully as yet according to The Chicago Sun Times - "I'm sure they're planning 'X3,' and all I can say is I love this character. There's so much more meat on the bone than you would ever hope to get out of a movie like this and it's great fun. You have all the action, too. Of course, my agent says, 'Never say definitely yes, Hugh!". The article also hints at least one blooper we may see on the X2 DVD - Singer in a Jean Grey costume and Hugh smooching.

UPDATE 5/8: Production Designer Guy Dyas spoke with Countingdown about all sorts of design work required for the over five dozen sets used in "X2", and talk came up of the inevitable sequel which he says he hasn't heard anything official about as of yet. He did confirm some of the designs they did for "X2" but not used in the film will be saved for future films. Amongst those are the following, see if you can guess which ones will eventually see the light of day: "The Danger Room and the Danger Toom control room (where someone can monitor & supervise the training sessions), Beast and Beast's laboratory, Angel and Archangel, The interior of Alkali Lake's abandoned base which included some very intricate prison cells and a giant cylindrical room where a big mid-air fight sequence was going to happen between Toad and Nightcrawler, a land vehicle that was going to come out of the cargo area of the X-Jet, and a secret level in the Pentagon in Washington D.C

Jackman will be back, I'm sure. Woverine is too important of the character in the series for him to not be in X3. I didnt mind Storm at all, so I hope she has a cameo appearence

There are too many characters already, and if they are planning on bringing even more new mutants, some of the older ones has to go. It simple as that.

I'll be interesting to see if a new director will freshen things up, or kill the series off, ala Batman Forever. Hopefully Patrick Stewart will return as well. Halle Berry can dive off a cliff for all I care, Angela Basset should have played Storm. Hugh will come back, he owns Wolverine and besides, from what I've read he enjoys the character too much to turn it down. Besides, it's the role that put him on the map.

Halle was whining that she didn't get to demonstrate the depth of Storm's character on screen, and that it was a major deterant to her...like she's some kind of comic book freak out to fulfill a childhood fantasy. Suck it up and shut your no-acting-skills having ass up! You don't know a damned thing about the character aside from what you've read in the scripts...moron. She pisses me off.

Good point, Captain Vegetable. I remember that, in interviews before the original X-Men came out, Halle was bitching that she was "reduced to taking a part in some comic book movie". Now she's whining that she didn't get to demonstrate the depth of her character? Kiss my ass, Halle.
