Why do so many people love part 2? It had the weakest puzzles in the series by far. It was more of an action game than a adventureous survival horror game like part 1. I think part 2 is the weakest of the bunch with part 1 and CV tied for the best in the series.
I liked RE3 a LOT. I mean a LOT.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

I havn't played 3 in years, maybe I'll run thru it this weekend.
Because 2 gave us more zombies, mutants, 2 different character scenarious and some glimpses on the zombie infested Raccoon city.Originally Posted by Nigel
And I still think CV is the weakest one in the series.

Waxing nostalgic about the massive anticipation that built up before its release, the great characters and story (well, for an RE game), the Licker, the oodles of replay value, and so on, and so on.Originally Posted by Nigel
Most of the puzzles in any RE game are pretty easy, I can't see why anyone would single out a particular game in the series for having weak puzzles.
Because you get to be Leon.Originally Posted by Nigel
Like Dispair said, alot is probably the build up. It does alot to build the RE story and probably has the best stand-alone storyline of any RE game.
I still hope to someday play as Elza Walker.
No way, the puzzles in RE1 were creative and fun. A good example is the mixture you have to make(only if you play as Chris) to kill that giant tree or the code for the locked keycode door being on the pool table.Originally Posted by Shadow Not Shade
RE2 only had those weak ,put the square handle in the square hole style puzzles.
