Thread: Favorite Nintendo System

  1. Favorite Nintendo System

    Topic.

  2. The SNES had the most amazing library of of games out there, and most, if not all of them, are just as enjoyable as they were when the first came out. The NES comes in a very close second with some great games on there as well.

  3. SNES. I will accept any answers of NES and Cube as well. Anybody choosing N64 gets kicked in the nuts.

  4. Snes. Its what made me go into my game junkie phase for at least 6 or 7 years before I broke out of it.

  5. gameboy gets the most playtime, but I am going with SNES because it had the greatest library for its time.

  6. SNES had Zelda: Link to the Past, Super Mario World and Final Fantasy 2 (some of my favs). Not to mention the first home version of Street Fighter 2 that I must've put close to 1000 hours into before SF2T the following summer. The NES is pretty close as well. The rest of their systems are ok to me.

  7. I guess I vote for SNES... although my favorite is really the Super Famicom.

  8. 1. Super Nintendo is the best system of all time (although i could see how some would think it's the NES ).
    2. Nintendo Entertainment Sytem
    3. Nintendo 64
    4. GameBoy Advance
    5. GameBoy
    6. Virtual Boy

im assuming we're sticking to their more important systems.

as for design (as far as looks go), i think it goes...
    1. GameBoy Advance SP (silver)
    2. GameCube (indigo)
    3. Nintendo 64 (black)
    4. Super Famicom
    5. GameBoy Advance
    6. Nintendo Entertainment System
    7. GameBoy Pocket
    8. GameBoy
    9. Famicom
    10. Virtual Boy i guess

  9. SNES, that little box made it hard to keep my good grades in college. I have found several games that I love on all of the consoles, but I just enjoyed the games on the SNES more.

Plus, almost all of my favorite platformers games are on it (of course I was biased since I never was able to afford a Genesis at the time).

  10. Id say NES, but it does lose some points for that stupid cartridge slot design..

    But SMB 1,2,3+Excitebike+RC Pro Am=ubergreatness
