Thread: The greatest injustice...

  1. The vast majority of the games set in the Shin Megami Tensei series/universe.
    "Tick-tock"

  2. All the Capcom 4meg Ram cart fighters that never came to the US. Vampire Savior, Cyberbots and A. Superstars come to mind.

  3. Various SLG games. Super Robot Wars, Masou Kishin, Langrissers(besides warsong).Black Matrix, Rayblade etc

Games like the Wonder Projects and some of the text adventures like the Suikogaidens.I was hoping they'd be pack-ins with part 3. =\

Some RPGs, like that Moon game which I really really want to play after reading a review of it and a bit of others.

Everything else I don't mind really, as I can play them in japanese and not suffer much for it~

  4. Dracula X - Much like Johnny Undaunted, I'd like to see what all the fuss is about. Hopefully it'll be ported to the PS2 as the second of Konami's Castlevania Chronicles titles.

Policenauts - Sci-fi plot + anime artwork + Hideo Kojima direction = gaming goodness.

Tobal 2 - Given the popularity of 3D fighting games and RPGs amongst PSX owners a few years ago, and the involvement of Akira Toriyama in its development, this game would've sold well in the Western world, assuming it was marketed well enough.

  5. Torn was supposed to be a PC RPG developed by the same dudes who made Planescape: Torment, but that got scrapped.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

  6. None. If I want it, I import it.

Didn't the PC version of GTA3 get released in Japan?
"I've watched while the maggots have defiled the earth. They have
built their castles and had their wars. I cannot stand by idly any longer." - Otogi 2

  7. I bought a cheap copy of Moon on eBay a few months back. I don't know Japanese, yet I thought I could swing it. I couldn't. What was I thinking.

We didn't get Dragon Quest 5. Or 6. Or the re-release of 4. And that breaks my heart. Also Fire Emblem and Magical Vacation.

Yep. It was quite popular with the yo-ge (western game) fanbase.

There quite a few good Japanese-made games that weren't released in Japan, ironically enough. This include (but not limited to): Rolling Thunder 3 (which was planned for the never-produced Vol. 3 of Namco Anthologies), Advance Wars, Metal Combat (Battle Clash sequel), Snake's Revenge (would've made a good side-story game), Contra Force (which I thought was alright if nothing special), Kid Icarus on Game Boy and Star Tropics 1+2.

Mystical Ninja was one of favorite SNES games so I was very disapointed that the SNES sequel never came out in the States. It was supposed to I believe and even had a release date if I recall but it didn't get released here.

There were actually quite a few Goemon games for the SNES than I care to remember.
