Thread: The greatest injustice...

  1. Super Robot Wars will never see the light of day here.

I can't imagine how expensive that would be to get all the licenses from the different companies, I think in Japan it's alot easier.
    R.I.P Kao Megura (1979-2004)

  2. I still can't believe that Enix didn't release one single SFC game from their most popular series over here.

Dragon Quest VI is simply amazing (much better than 7, actually, thanks to the nice 2D). I hate playing translated ROMs.

I'm praying that V/VI get ports/remakes for the PS2 (or whatever, if it's a system I don't have, I'm buying one). Hey, it could happen.

  3. I've been enjoying Blue Submarine No 6 for DC, a English release would have been great, same with Napple Tale.

Hermie Hopperhead and Gunner's Heaven are two PSone games I wish we would have seen, I don't think they even recieved a rerelease in Japan where just about any PSone game of merit has another run. *-neo

  4. I am so happy that there is so much love for Tobal 2 on these boards--to me that was the definitive PSX 3d fighter. I have been singing it's praises (along with the team from Dream Factory) on different threads .

Don't have it offhand, but I'll find it and see how it works on a CD, off my Japanese one.
Really? I have never heard of that. Got a link? It's got a lot of Japanese text because of the quest mode and some of the menues.

On Topic: I agree that the rest of Shining Force III (pts 2/3) should have come out here and also Dragon Force 2.

  5. I want the Dragon Quest remakes for GBA. I think portable DQ is the best thing ever. I'm convinced DQ7 would be one of my favorite games if it were portable. The game was TOO BIG - the thought of sitting in front of a tv for 150 hours depresses the hell outta me. But on a Game Boy? I'm down with that. I'm probably alone in this opinion, though.

I've probably posted that before. Err. On topic now!

I really wish we'd gotten Napple Tale. I'm too lazy to wade through all the Japanese text during the non-platforming bits.

I also wanted to play Tomato Adventure. God knows if it's any good, but it's a quirky RPG. On the GBA. From Nintendo. Wagagah I want it.

And speaking of quirky games from Nintendo I really wish there was an english version of Marvelous. I've tried playing through the ROM using a walkthrough, but it was too much work. It seems like it might be a really great game. But it might not be. It's kinda like Zelda meets the Lost Vikings meets...I don't know. An old PC adventure game. It seems really weird. You can grope your camp counselors boobs! I'd wish for an english patch, but I never play through translated roms. GBA PORT PLEASE, NINTENDO. I read over on Gaming Age that Eiji Aonuma directed it. He's tops.

You're not alone. If there's one fantastic thing about the GB Player and the GBA SP, it's that I can play the same game no matter what mood I'm in. Yesterday I plays Castlevania: AoS for about 4 hours, 3 on the TV and 1 while I was waiting for Mrs. Yoshi at the library.

Wow. Same here. I've been eyeing this game for so long. Straight up puzzle only RPG right? Well, the Zelda, LV adventure game you mentioned sounds about right. But I don't want to bother with it since its in japanese.I'll probably give up and just buy it anyways at some point.=\

and I don't tend to play through trans-roms either, for whatever reason~

I'd really like to play it though. really

Yep. And Dracula X, Monster World 4, Soukygurentai, DDP 3, and Suikogaiden also deserve mention.

  10. TOBAL 2
    PRINCESS CROWN
    D&D COLLECTION(SATURN)
    ALIEN VERSES PREDATOR(CAPCOM)
GUNBEAT(was really looking forward to that one)
