Thread: To anyone who's counting... 3rd job in 3 months.

  1. I teach full time at a local university and part time at the one from which I graduated. I pay my bills, buy my wife some nice stuff, and have plenty of cash for games. My new baby may tap into my funds but there will always be money for games.

Pretty interesting, I never would've (could've) guessed some of what you guys do.

I just ended what can barely be called a relationship that somehow lasted 4 years (!!!). I really feel like going to a bar and talking shit about girls. Hell, I think I will.

You close to Baltimore? Zero and I are gonna go out drinking around Otakon. You're more than welcome to come along.

I bag groceries and do other grunt work for the Front End of the store. For some reason I didn't feel like admitting to having such a lowly profession, but hey, what the hell.

  5. he-he,and i boss people like omega around stillfront end head at the old grocery store, the pay aint great, they are trying to talk me into transfering to the general merchendise department(they like my work record, 4 sick days in 9 years). but management training is opening up,and there is a walmart supercenter opening near, with a manager that used to want to hire me at the old store he managed, so i might go for that if i can get a department.

  6. I'm a research analyst for an investment banking firm. The money's REALLY good (for an administrative position), but I work with people that are like 10 years younger than me and make about 40% more than my salary.

Even though the money's good, I'm still broke as a fucking joke because my wife got laid off in Dec. and I've been footing most of the bills solo.

With $1400 rent, credit card bills, cable (fuck you Time Warner, I'll find a way to pirate your ass!) and mouths to feed including a two-year old daughter, my money is never far from being spent. Boo hoo..

Stay in school, stay single or you'll end up like me!

Agreed. As much shit as I talk about education you really need to stay in school.

I love my life, but not many people would.

Get good grades, get a good job, and never live with your significant other. Ever.
