Thread: E3: N-Gage Launch Title Screens

  1. E3: N-Gage Launch Title Screens

Due to limited playable units, we weren't able to get a hands-on experience with all of the titles scheduled to be featured alongside the N-Gage this October. However, we wanted to share with you some of the first visuals of the games to hold you over until a later date.

We expect that N-Gage will also have a booth allowing attendees to get more hands-on time. Stay tuned for more inform later this week.

  2. You're gonna have a hard ass time selling me on $300 for PS1 graphics.

I'd just as soon drop $300 on a PDA and have something useful, although the Cellphone angle is definately a bigger plus than any MP3 player.

As a Cellphone? Awesome. I'd definately get this as my cell of choice. Console? eh.

  3. Well, Tomb Raider looks great, as does Monkey Ball. Here's to hoping they hack that price to bits though.
    matthewgood fan
    lupin III fan

  4. I've never said this before, but I hope to god this fails. I hope the people who thought this up have to dumpster dive for food behind a McD's. It's a great idea but in execution and price it's all wrong. Add all this to it's terrible design with it's horrendous button layout and you've got an installed user base of about 500.

Although I can see some nice verticle shooters comming out for it .

    Once more...

NO ONE WILL BE BUYING THE N-GAGE FOR $300!

I mean, honestly, how many people spend $300 on cell phones? NOBODY! They get the $300 cell phone for like $59.99 with a service contract. This is exactly how people will be getting the N-Gage. Make no doubt about it. Nokia is a fucking cell phone company, they know how to sell cell phones - and this thing is a cell phone.

But you already knew that - you said you'd get the phone as a phone!

Exactly. That's how I got my current "$300" phone. I signed up, and It was around $15-$20 after rebates. I don't know one person that has paid full price for a cell phone over $100 (if that). Though I may pick one up, when it's halfway down the shitter. and store are selling them at $50 to clear their backstock out. :-P

  7. Well, I was quite interested in N-Gage at first.... but meh.. that price tag has completely soured me. I am not interested anymore.

Also, I already own Sonic Advance 1.

  8. I only have a cellphone because it came with the plan. I wouldn't pay $300 for this.
