Cheep bastards. They would have had plenty of room to put all 3 orignal DD games on one cart. I'll buy it, but I'm starting to get pissed at all the 10 year old games selling for $30.
Atlus USA announced today that it will be releasing the 1987 Technos masterpiece, Double Dragon, for the GameBoy Advance. As if the fact that they're porting the game is not enough, Atlus plans to add some very nice enhancements to the game. These enchancements are sure to make fans of the series very happy.
The enhancements include...
- New stages
- New enemies
- New modes
- New techniques
- Two-player co-op
- Vs. mode
- One-player mode that gives you control over both characters, with the aid of the computer
- A survival mode that pits you against an endless number of enemies
No release date has been given, although we do expect to hear more on the game tomorrow.
In conclusion, I would personally like to thank Atlus for making this dream come true.

The one player mode where you can control both characters sounds nice, as long as switching control between the two is a snap.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
Not an actual screenshot from the game (as you can tell from the un-GBA like resolution), but it does give you an idea how a Double Dragon game would look like on the GBA.

i dunno about that. i think the GBA could pull of an arcade perfect port.
still, worse comes to worse, we'll just get a Super Double Dragon port. which is fine by me since i think it's the best console Double Dragon.
