This could be simpler things, like uploading scores to a national database or downloading new costumes/boards. Hell, even the new capability MS is pushing to have offline titles let you know if you get an invite from a friend could fall under the banner. Think of it it this way: if the game comes out in august, then by ... november I predict it'll be full of PAR-using morons who only play to up their stats with inf. life codes, pull before they lose, and all the other nonsensical bullshit that accompanies CvS2 live. I admit I'm not the biggest fan of SC, but I really don't wanna see it subjected to that.
