Sure, it is tragic that these people baked like taters in that truck. Then again, it was their prerogative not to attempt this. MVS is right- it is like a dude dying robbing a house. If people want to immigrate here then they should go through the proper channels.
As for the smugglers, they should have the book thrown at them for that so a message can be sent to others who are contemplating such actions... and they should face additional charges for putting the people in such an inhospitable condition which ultimately led to their deaths.

"Many are from the Middle east" doesn't mean that millions are, and if you took it that way, I explained myself later by saying a very small percentage are from the Middle East. I agree that the word "many" was a poor word choice, but I thought I had cleared that up; I guess not.
