The only system I even remotely regret buying at launch is the PS2, and even that was worth it just to see Beyond the Mat. I don't see how early adopters have gotten screwed over. If the game lineups or hardware features don't interest you, then don't buy a system until they do. It's not a complex thing folks. Just pay the price you're willing to pay for the system, the price you think it's worth. For me, being able to see Beyond the Mat balanced out the PS2's sub-par launch lineup (and horrid lineup for the first nine months of the system's life.) This is coming from someone who paid $400 for the Saturn right around launch and doesn't regret it. Why? Because for me, being able to play VF and Daytona at home was worth $400.
