Holy...I had no idea Futurama was on DVD. I take it that's all of season one then? Any notable extra stuff available?
Ok - I just bought the only Futurama DVD set I could find in stores - its the "Volume One" DVD set - with three discs of Futurama from episode one "Space Pilot 3000: to episode 13 "Fry and the Slurm Factory" - as far as I know - this is the only Futurama DVD set out in stores.
Does anyone know how many volumes there will be? And if so - when they are each expected to be released. I referred to the old Futurama thread but unfortunatley it was plagued with confusing rumours and not alot of coherence.
I checked on amazon.com and it has a release date for the Volume Two of Futurama (a 4 disc set) as September 2, 2003. Can anyone confirm this?

The next one actually may be out over here. I gotta check that out. It has a whopping 19 episodes on it.

Season 2 of Futurama is already available as a Region 4 DVD season box set...here in Australia, at least.
My brother works for HMV and it is September 2 - 7th. Whatever the Tuesday is that week.
Also, there were 5 official Futurama seasons.

Fair enough...I wasn't trying to pass on any information regarding the US release dates for Futurama. But, considering that Season 2 of Futurama is already available in Europe, though, I'd say its US release will be just around the corner. Usually, anything that's reasonably popular will receive a DVD release in the US and Europe at roughly the same time.Originally posted by station82o
yeah - and perhaps thats where the confusion came in - I was mainly concerned with USA release dates.
The slurm episode was the season finale to season 1, but because it was preempted so much, the last couple of episodes aired in season 2. But they're still season 1.Originally posted by arjue

They aren't going by airdate.
