Yea, that was very funny.
It's a good film but defintley not a great comedy with the funniest part being when Carrey got the anchor to speak in tounges.

He doesn't. Jim Carrey is a good actor by himself, when not doing comedy.Originally posted by Atlas
I am going to see it, even though Jim Carrey has the same exaggerated facial expressions in every comedy he has ever done. Granted, that is his signature, and I enjoy his work - I just wish he would do one comedy with out the "shhhmokin'" face...
Just so happens that he is great at comedy, as well, so this movie was funny. I just got finished watching it and I laughed almost all of the way through. The funniest part for me was:
Bruce running with a pitcher full of milk and splashing those kids and when he played the 'jazz' on his hand in the conference room. Good stuff.
The movies premise is simple enough, there is great writing and good special effects you don't even notice because they're done so well. Good movie, great for laughs.
Except it's riffled with swear words, and the big guns at that as well.Originally posted by Megatron
I just saw the movie and it's a good family-comedy.

I like my women like I like my coffee. Covered in bees!
It's funny. That's all that matters in a movie like this.

Her name is Catherine Bell.
Did anyone catch the couple scenes that you could see a microphone above the actor's heads? I've been noticing it a lot lately in movies, though I can't think of any recent movies where I noticed them.

Were they in the studio environment such as the TV studio, in which case they'd probably be there on purpose. With all the CG in films now, even if the boom WAS in a scene, it wouldn't matter.
They'd simply take it out.

I think the movie got most of it's money from the east coast, the weather has been so shitty that people came to the movies in droves.
