Thread: Atari's Enter The Matrix Premieres as No. 1 Selling Video Game

  1. Exactly. Matrix-Mania is in full swing, and the game's sales are reaping the rewards.

  2. christ, guys, it's not that bad.
    MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!

  3. agreed...you guys act like it's the worst game ever made...sure it may seem rushed and it isn't the best game this year, but none the less I find it enjoyable...shit, call off the dogs...*shakes head*

  4. The reason they act like it's so awful is because they haven't played it, and because hating things are in vogue. 5 minutes at a store demo station doesn't count either. It's not the BEST GAME EVAR!!!! but it's fun anyway.

    Sorry, I have played it. I really wanted to love it because I loved the matrix movie.

    One thing though that pisses me off to no end is the advertising for Nvidia and the Pentium 4 found in the airport level. Is this what we'll see in the future?

  6. I agree. I've been having a lot of fun with it.
    PSN = knarlockk

    Real advertising in games is nothing new.

    Indeed.

    Great point. It's not like the game is selling this well because it is an exceptional piece of software. I wouldn't even bother with this game myself, the only movie related games I would ever buy is Stars Wars/Factor 5... and even those I buy FAR more because of Factor 5 than SW, because I am a Star Trek fan. 10. Don't forget Pepsiman being in Fighting Vipers, and all the roadsides in racing games having company names on them.
