No LOTR: Two Towers game love eh?
Hey, I've played the game, and it's solid, average action game. Nothing great, but for a movie-based game it's fine. Considering the fact that most movie-based game suck balls, I think Shiny did an okay job with this one. It's really not that bad at all.
The Thing is the best movie game ever, IMO.![]()

I love LOTR Two Towers game. It was great beat them up, and only flaw it had was that it missed co-op modeBut its being fixed in ROTK
ETM is a decent game, and doesnt deserve all the hate it gets.
I'm glad the game sold as well as it did, Shiny deserves the exposure.
Indeed.ETM is a decent game, and doesnt deserve all the hate it gets.
I think the reason ETM gets so much crap is because the license lends itself very well to a video game. It just seems to me that Shiny (or someone involved) did something horribly wrong and ruined the project. It could have been great.
Switch the locales with Fantasy Land and the Matrix characters with Fairy Girl and Gnome Boy and try to defend the game as being "not so bad". Just having something to do with the Matrix doesn't save the game from sucking balls.
High seller. Big Surprise.

And in other news, EB's and Gamestop's across the world are flooded with used ETM copies out of that one million.

Make all the snide comments you want, those who have played the game (or in Spike's case, beyond the airport level) know that it is a solid, above-average action game with the best movie tie-in gimmick ever crafted.
Worth $50 for any Matrix fan.

Hey, that's fine guys. It's absolutely your right to pay $50 for an average game just because it says "Matrix" on it. (Wait for Shinobi and Contra: SS to drop to $15 before buying them, though.)Originally posted by Dolemite
Is anyone really suprised by this? I'm not. It's a Matrix game, they could have just re-labeled old E.T. Atari 2600 carts and they would have sold just as many copies.
If people will pay full price for it, even with average quality and advertising thrown in, they should do it.Originally posted by Spike
One thing though that pisses me off to no end is the advertising for Nvidia and the Pentium 4 found in the airport level. Is this what we'll see in the future?
Heck, throw in a cursor and some pop-up ads. You have to use the analog stick over the ad and press the X button to close it. It could make a game more challenging to play, especially an FPS or puzzle game.
