Thread: The (2nd) best first party

  1. The (2nd) best first party

I've left out Nintendo as they would get the most votes, which would make for a really dull poll.

So which do you think is the best at the current moment in time?

  2. Sony, since Polyphony seems to be in a different league all its own.
Right, because if anything validates the existance of a handheld piece of shit, it's taking those shitty handheld games and placing them on a screen big enough so that the inherent flaws of the software is visible to all humans. Including Ray Charles.

  3. Hate to say it, but Sony. They've bought too many great companies and franchises. Playmore is second. Microsoft has only half-heartedly supported the Xbox, which is a shame - if they weren't going to compete full bore and spend whatever it takes, they shouldn't have released the Xbox.
    No gnus is good gnus.

  4. Btw, I mean first party publisher above.

  5. Sony > Nintendo

  6. Nintendo > Sony

At any rate, I would have to vote for Sony, also. Because Sony has had some fine games come out. I would say Microsoft, but their 'potential' for upcoming games they are putting out is high, but I don't measure potential so much as what's already been released.

Halo was fun, and a great play, but other than that nothing stands out.

    Sony it is.

  8. To me, Sony practically wins by default here. But they have some games I enjoy. GT3A is a fun racer.....The Mark of Kri is very cool.....yeah, and there are more.

To be honest, I can't think of a first party MS game on the Xbox that I like. I really enjoyed Crimson Skies (PC). I'm not sure if they bought the team that did MSR (DC) and PGR (XB), but I like that. Don't give me Halo.

He said including their PC division. Their PC division is great. Age of Empires, Links golf, Rise of Nations, Crimson Skies, Freelancer, the * Madness games (all of which are good), Flight Simulator, Dungeon Siege, Mechwhatever, etc. Really good stuff coming from those guys.

Was Playmore like, put on there as a joke or something? Because you gotta be fucking kidding me.

It might be because I'm an athiest, or it might be because sony is a great publisher, but for one or both of those reasons I find myself agreeing with omfgninjas. weird...
