I've always thought the boss battles were the weakest bit of the game. They were pretty gimmicky (to show off that new giant fat morphing technology, whatever the buzz word was back then) and none were challenging. (I did like the final battle and the one with the plant and had to skid the eggs on the water.)

But even then, best platformer ever made.

Yoshi's Island is my favorite platformer and subsequentally, Yoshi is my favorite Nintendo character.

yeah, most of the boss battles are too easy, but how can you not love the frog boss? the inside the frog boss, that is. clever stuff.)

Best looking game ever. The only downside to this otherwise perfect game is the quantity of BGM.
