    That has nothing to do with it. CGI has been around as long as cel animation had been when Snow White was made. Hell I still think Skeleton Dance is amazing and that was one of the first animated films ever.

    Regardless. Rendered animation came to be in the mid-late 80s. Pixar's first rendered cartoon was released in 1986. It's like 16 years old. Snow White came out in 1937, just 9 years after Disney's first animated short (which was one of the first of its kind).

  4. I see what you're saying. I'm just saying that, in time, rendered stuff should be at least close to where hand-drawn stuff is now. Quite a few variables will determine that time, like how much progress is made with each rendered piece.
