I think the closest I am going to get to PDA gaming is when I finally breakdown and get a GP32. I realize that's not very close, but at least it is handheld emulation.
We had a thread discussing PDA games a while back and there was some good stuff mentioned, but that was a while back so there should be some good stuff that someone's played that the rest of us haven't heard about. So what have you been playing lately when you should be working?
I recently got a new Pocket PC, a Dell Axim X5, and it kicks much ass (as long as you stick a large mem card in it, it has very little memory). I haven't really messed with many pocket pc games, seeing as how my previous unit could barely play Pac Man, but the possibilities are nearly endless with some of the newer 300 and 400 mhz chips. Some manufacturers are even making the buttons a bit better for gaming, although I have no idea if this is intentional or not.
One thing that I've been messing with all day is PocketNester. It's an NES emulator for the Pocket PC platform, and it is BAD ASS. It plays nearly perfectly with sound. Gaming is a little awkward, the button layout is no substitute for a gamepad, but it's still very playable. It even played Punch Out well, and many emus have a problem with that game. Also, since the screen is low resolution (compared to a pc monitor) there aren't any annoying artifacts that pop up from upscanning to a higher resolution, although due to the orientation of the screens, you can't have a true full screen. But the screen is bigger than a gameboy, so that's ok by me.
So what are you playing?

Llamasoft released Deflex and HoverBovver for the Pocket PC last year, you can check 'em out at http://www.llamasoft.co.uk/
Demo versions as well as the full versions are available for download there.

I’m pretty boring when it comes to playing games on my Toshiba Pocket PC. All I have is Solitaire, which I usually play while waiting in line for something. My coworkers seem to be hooked on Columns and Dope Wars though.
PDAs are for organizing and multimedia (mp3s). Playing games on them is like using a datebook and "to do" list cartdrige on your GBA. Just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you should.
That being said, I play Bejeweled and DopeWars and Solitaire/FreeCell on my Sony Clie when I don't have the GBA around.
