Games that are labeled ___ killers always turn out shit. Developers should be trying to do something new instead of attempting to one up another's game

I don't outright hate Halo, I find it as a decent FPS that is nowhere even close of deserving half the praise it gets. Both are middle of the road, but since the praise of one of the mediocre games is brought up more often I speak about that one more. No one speaks about Outtrigger or claims it to be incredible, hence I haven't spoken against it. Like Halo, I'd play it if I got bored of other FPS', but since I currently have no shortage of better games in the genre and don't own either anymore, I don't have to touch them at all.

They're both superior to Blake Stone and inferior to Doom, in any case.

Rosso's an excellent team, but incredibly small (roughly 1/3 the size of every other Sega team). Very talented though, I loved Star Wars trilogy.

Their beatemups are among Sega's worst, they're just the only teams at Sega to produce them. Golden Axe (Revenge of Death Adder) and Zombie Revenge are pretty lame in the comapny of Spikeout and Streets of Rage. Their light gun games are pretty good, though. I enjoyed Vampire Night and Maze of Kings as well as HotD. Wild Riders, Cool Riders, and LA Riders were very good too for what they were. But that doesn't change my view that they're Sega's weakest team.

Perhaps saying they're Sega's team with the most inconsistent quality of output would be a better way of putting it. I'm sure if we weigh the good of WoW against the good of Rosso, it would win out, but Rosso's only like 5 years old and less than half the size, and WoW has made plenty of lame stuff too.
