Preview: Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu (PS2, Xbox, GameCube)
It's no secret that the Batman license has fallen into a dark abyss that grows deeper and deeper upon each new release. Bad gameplay should be a crime illegal in 50 states.
We had high hopes for recent games including Batman: Vengeance and the ever-disappointing Batman: Dark Tomorrow; both of which missed the mark in one area or another.
However, Ubi Soft Montreal Studios has been diligently working on a new Batman installment which should finally bring the riddle of poor games to rest. Many gamers expressed a great degree of skepticsm when they learned this edition would be developed in the form of the classic beat-'em-up. But let's be honest, when's the last time you played a game as cool as Streets of Rage or Double Dragon? Now, picture that style meshed with the elements of Batman thrown in for good measure.
Sounds intriguing? Need more proof?
