I'm sure you've all heard about the PSX by now. Way I see it, either this thing is gonna flop, damaging the PlayStation brand name, or it'll succeed, and nobody'll want to buy a PS3 a scant year later. Either way, Sony giving MS and N an open invitation to the top spot. So, what do you see happening?

Where's the "it won't move many units, but won't hurt Sony much" option? ;p Yeah, I think it's a dumb idea. Most people that want a PS2 have one, and most that don't have one but want one most likely haven't bought it yet due to price, and 700 dollars isn't too attractive. But it isn't like Sega and the Saturn where they put all their chips into it and it bit them in the butt.

I'd like to see Nintendo atop the gaming mountain. If the PS2 didn't kill off the PlayStation brand name due to the shitty first nine months of games, I doubt the PSX will kill it.

PSX = PS2 Type 2 with a few other extra thingies.

Nobody's going to buy it, but it isn't going to fuck Sony over either. At least I really wouldn't think so.

i vote with my heart,and not with my head, nintendo forever. but if sony could survive the ps2 launch, wiht the delays,and the crappy gmaes(yeah, fantavision kicks ASS) sony will probably hold again.
