Sheer damn godly so far and I'm still messing about in training, taking challenges and bumping up stats. It's the exact same golf mechanics as the Gamecube one but it just feels so much deeper somehow. If you're thinking about it, leaning towards maybe buying it, or just curious, throw down the cash. So far it just feels amazing, and seeing as new-game buzz isn't something I tend to do too much of any more, that says something.
The only thing dissapointing about this game is the difficulty. I've only played a few tournaments but I won them all easily, and I've heard the game doesn't really get much harder.
I prefer the actual gameplay of Toadstool Tour over Advance Tour. It just isn't possible to make a game on the GBA as precise as Toadstool Tour plays. If only Camelot made a Mario Golf game with all the stuff there is to do in Advance Tour and combined it with the graphics and gameplay of Toadstool Tour. That'd be one of my favorite games ever, easily.
got this game, ive only played it about 2 hours, ive beat all the doubles tourneys, way too easy, but really fun. Never played the one on GC but i plan on buying that soon now.
Somtimes its just way too easy, I would be +3 on the 17th hole in 5th place, with the computer in first with -2, and then by the end of the match, many of the computers would drop down to +4 to give me the win when i would only shoot 2 pars. This has happend to me many times already. Im happy that i win, but I know I dont deserve to win.
