Damien, youch, I doubt the game will see an Australian release.

I remember Sqoon being excited about this game once and dying to even write a review, but I guess the game pissed him off at some point.
...and i thought the gameplay was actually a lot like rock-paper-scissors.
Sadly it is rock-paper-scissors.
Got it, tried really hard to love it, failed. Rock/Paper/Scissors just isn't a game I feel like playing. It had so much going for it that it's sad to see it shot down so thoroughly by it's pure suck fighting "engine".

Yeah, the rock-paper-scissors gameplay is really the only critical flaw for the game, but it's a doozie. Hopefully, if a sequel is made, they'll make the battle system a bit more substantial.

It would be great to see a full flegged turn based systemplay... pokemon with characters you make... it would be great...
Found a shot of the JPN cover art for the game on a Miyazaki fansite, very nice looking.

The game either had, or will get, a sequel in Japan - http://www.garakuta-studio.com/
No word on a U.S. release.
