Best Raizing shooter?

We've had the Cave and Psikyo threads... so here's one for Raizing/8ing.

I'm sorry that there's no space for Brave Blade.

I'm torn between Batrider and Great Mahou Daisakusen. Not a fan of the company myself (I much prefer Cave) but those two are fine games. My vote goes to GMD though because I love the level one music and the announcer is cool.

i haven't played many of these.. i'm not sure what it is, but i find it hard to get into raizing shooters. i think it has something to do with the rank/scoring system. i don't like being penalized for picking up power-ups, and apparently, the trick to getting high scores is to consciously avoid getting too powerful. counter-intuitive, imo.

from what i have played, my favorite is sokyugurentai. i would enjoy battle garegga more if it was easier to distinguish bullets from shrapnel.

Great Mahou is the only Raizing shooter I really like much.

I voted Batrider since it is easily the most evolved of the Raizing games, but my fave is still Garegga. Still not a single vote for Garegga, where is Stone.

GMD is a close second, and a damn good game too

Up until a year or so ago, I would have said Garegga for sure.
